Sushruta was a disciple of Lord Dhanwantri. He was a father
of Surgery. Even today, the surgeons of modern age try to
learn various surgical techniques from his book Sushruta Samhita.
The technique of Rhinoplasty described by Sushruta about 3000
years ago has been accepted by modern plastic surgeons as
such.
Dr. Harish Verma is the founder and lead researcher
for Sushruta Ayurvedic Therapy Center. Dr. Verma named his
center in mark of respect to such a great surgeon and medical
scientist of ancient time.
